L’Atelier Sonore is a vocal and stage factory in Balma (Toulouse). A true creative space under the musical direction of Jessie Brenac-Litzinger, the 60 choristers practice singing, stage expression and body percussion in original creations composed and staged by their choir director.

 

The company is made up of a children's choir (the Apprentis), a youth choir (the Labo Vocal) and a women's choir (the P'tit Bazar).

 

The choir also makes musical collaborations with other artistic ensembles and regularly participates in choral singing festivals.

Chanterie, Lyon, France

La Chanterie de Lyon is an association which currently brings together 350 young choristers aged 5 to 18. With the cantourelles (5-8 years), the chanteries (8-12 years), the Mik'ados choir (12-18 years) and the Cigale de Lyon (8-18 years - by audition).

She is unique in France in the number of children she makes sing together. Unique in the number and age of its singers. Unique also because it relies on the voluntary commitment of around twenty choir directors, most of them experienced or training musicians, who lead small choirs every week in the main districts of Lyon. In the summer of 2019 La Chanterie de Lyon had the immense honor of performing the opening concert of the Choralies de Vaison La Romaine. The repertoire of the Chanterie branch (8-12 years) is intended to be eclectic, varied, lively, dynamic and fun! A repertoire renewed each year around a theme (Disney, The Americas, The circus, etc.).

Eclats, Toulouse, France

The ECLATS choir sings every year with the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse, under the direction of François Terrieux.

Their repertoire includes musical tales, operas for children but also a cappella or piano pieces. Scenographies and choreographies are integrated into all programs. The next creation (March 2024) will include hip hop dance.

All children can join the Choir, without selection, without audition.

​

The choir's artistic project is built around three pillars – Create, Meet and Transmit – allows choristers to grow and flourish in a place of training, creation and dissemination.

Ellerhein girls' choir, Tallinn, Estonie

Founded in 1951, the Ellerhein choir is made up of young girls aged 14 to 18.

In addition to preparing for concerts, the objective of this choir is to develop the vocal abilities and musical culture of singers through vocal coaching and music theory courses.

 

Their repertoire consists of classical and contemporary choral music from Estonia and around the world. ​

 

Ellerhein girls' choir has collaborated with several renowned conductors and professional groups. Under the direction of Ingrid Körvits, she has won numerous prizes at various choral festivals and competitions around the world.

IRVEM, Canet, France

IRVEM, association 1901 created in 1988, is a research, training and dissemination organization. It is made up of researchers, teachers and professional singers, dancers and actors. The work since 1990 with its President B. Amy de la Bretèque, phoniatric doctor, practitioner attached to the public hospitals of Montpellier and Marseille, Doctor in Language Sciences, allows each person to master their voice, with rigor and dynamism.

 

The IRVEM Master’s degree welcomes children from 8 years old, adolescents and young adults. She performs in concerts and staged shows, alongside high-level professional artists under the direction of B. de Swarte. This allows him to consider the whole of an artistic adventure with all that it entails: the work of vocal technique, the discovery of repertoires, taking into account the meaning of words, musicality, history, of the historical context of the work, then the meeting with professional musicians, the joint musical work, the stage work, the rehearsals until the conclusion of the concert or show.

 

Sjaloom, Waregem, Belgique

Sjaloom is a school choir of SG Sint Paulus Campus Ascension.

​

The members of the choir are 40 choristers, girls and boys, from the first to the sixth year, i.e. from 12 to 18 years old. ​ Their choir director is Marleen Annemans.

 

Sjaloom has participated in various European festivals in recent years: the European Youth Music Festival in Pelt in Belgium for 20 years, Europa Cantat on several occasions and the Choralies de Vaison la Romaine in 2022.

Veus, Granollers, Catalogne

Veus – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió was born in 1996 with the music school created within the Societat Coral Amics de la Unió de Granollers. Directed by Josep Vila Jover since its formation, this choir of white voices is distinguished by the quality, eclecticism and singularity of its productions. Currently, she has been resident choir at the Teatre Auditori de Granollers since 2017 and will be the prestige choir of the festival. Veus has participated in numerous international festivals and has been rewarded in various contests and competitions. Recent awards include third prize in the 53rd Toulouse Choral Singing Competition (2022), the Josep Anselm Clavé Prize for Best Recording for the album Els Colors del Mar (2018), the Guido de Arezzo Recognition (2017), first prize at the 47th Toulouse Choral Singing Competition (2015) and the Silver Rose at the EBU Let the Peoples Sing! competition. (2013). Veus regularly performs on the country's main stages, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Auditori de Barcelona. On the international scene, he has performed at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Philharmonie de Luxembourg, among others. He has shared the stage with prestigious directors such as Kasushi Ono, Jordi Savall and Gustavo Dudamel. Globally, the choir is regularly invited to participate in prestigious festivals across Europe, including Foulle Journé and Via Aeterna. Additionally, he has toured and participated in festivals in Japan, China and the United States.

Cantilène de Thuir, France

The Association Chanterie Cantilène de Thuir is a choral group for children and young people up to 18 years old created in 1977, 40 years ago, and is a group affiliated with the choral movement "A Coeur Joie" based in Thuir. 3 groups make up the association: the Junior Chanterie, the Chanterie, and the Cantilène with choristers aged 13 to 18.

Under the direction of Dorothée Bassole, Kym Critchell and Audrey Simond, the cantilène lives musical weekends  during the year. All styles are covered: French song, world songs, jazz, choral, classical music, cantatas written for children's choirs. Exceptional events punctuate the year every year. The choir often exchanges with other choirs in France, Belgium, Italy and also in Germany. In addition, the Cantilène de Thuir participates in choir meetings and regularly welcomes foreign choirs.

For chanteries that discover polyphony, all styles are covered: French song, world songs, jazz, choral, classical music, cantatas written for children's choirs. Under the direction of Roselyne Pasquet, musical weekends also take place during the year. Exceptional events punctuate the year every year.

 

The choir often exchanges with other choirs in France, Belgium, Italy and also in Germany. In addition, the Chanterie de Thuir participates in choir meetings and regularly welcomes foreign choirs.
