LISBON UNIVERSITY CHILDREN AND YOUTH CHOIR is a structure with140 chorists, from 6 to 18 years old and with four distinct groups: Workshop, Pre-choir, Children's choir and Youth choir.

CIUL has performed in almost every major places in Portugal, sung at major Portuguese festivals and sung with some of the most acclaimed international children's choirs.With their typical flash mobs on the streets, wherever they go, these kids have entertained thousands people, all together.

The choir's repertoire is very eclectic, with themes from composers such as Purcell, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Cherubini, Rossini, Britten, and Lopes Graça, focusing on ethnic and contemporary music.

Cors Mondeveus, Catalonia

The Móndeveus choir brings together around twenty young people aged 12 to 18.

He composes the choir group Anselm Viola by Torroella de Montgri, which is made up of three other choirs (Niudenotes, Sonaixi and Cor Anselm Viola).

Conducted by Mrs. Jose Toledano, the choir was founded in 2012 and is part of the secretariat of the infantile choirs of Catalonia (SCIC) and of the federation of young choirs of Catalonia (CIC).

This year, the choirs have made various concerts, meetings and exchanges with other choirs from Catalonia, the Balears Islands, Valence and France, as well as various musicals and have recently recorded a CD.

Chœur de la radio estonienne, Estonia

The Estonian radio children's music studio (founded in 1955) has 4 choirs made up of 32 singers aged 10 to 13: preparatory choir, young children's choir, children's choir and girl choir, all working with Kadri Hunt (conductor and artistic director), Kaie Tanner (conductor), Anu Aimla (vocal coach), Märt Agu (dance teacher) and Elina Kaasik (music theory).

One of the studio’s main goals is to record music for children and adolescents composed by Estonian composers. To date, 17 CDs under the Estonian Public Broadcast label have been released. The disc "Songs of Childhood" with children's songs by Arvo Pärt, released in October 2015, was awarded the Golden Disc Prize for the best disc sold in Estonia in 2015.

The children also toured Estonia and abroad: Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United States and participated in all Estonian music celebrations. Finally, the choirs often cooperate with professionals at concerts and festivals and regularly make appearances on Estonian television and radio.

ECLATS, France

ECLATS, children and youth choir welcomes children and young people from 5 to 17 years old, as well as adults.

ECLATS is a privileged partner of the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse. The Choir sings every year  as part of the symphonic seasons and during Sunday concerts and presents musical creations with staging and choregraphy.

The choir's artistic project allows choristers to grow and flourish in a place of training, creation and dissemination.

The teaching staff is entirely made up of professional artists.

The choristers participate throughout the year in internships to carry out specific work on the repertoire, theater, staging, choreography and singing lessons.

IRVEM, France

The Institute for Vocal Research and Musical Education, is an association existing since 1988 which brings together singers, actors, voice teachers, phoniatrists, speech therapists around the same concern: the voice and its pedagogy.

Two principles guide the action of the association:

- respect for the student, his pace of development, his artistic choices,

- the search for educational tools enabling all those who wish to achieve control of their voice.

 

IRVEM produce numerous projects with the mastery and professionals of the world of music and live performance.

 

All forms of song are considered: ancient music, choral song, lyric song, traditional music, current French and foreign song.

The Cantilene Chanterie Association of Thuir is a choral group for children and young people up to 18 years old created in 1977, that is 40 years ago, and is a group affiliated to the choral movement "A Coeur Joie" based in Thuir. 3 groups make up the chanterie.

- Junior

- Chanterie

- Cantilene

Musical weekends are also held throughout the year for the two larger groups. All styles are covered: French song, world songs, jazz, choral, classical music, cantatas written for children's choirs.

Exceptional events bring the year. The choir often exchanges with other choirs in France, Belgium, Italy but also in Germany. In addition, the Chanterie de Thuir participates in choir meetings and regularly welcomes foreign choirs.

L'Atelier Sonore is a choir of children and young people from 8 to 18 years old divided into two groups:

- Apprentices (third grade - Second form class)

- Les Laborantins (Third form class - twelfth grade)

And practice polyphonic choral singing and especially the "voice on stage"

Since September 2016, Jessie Brenac-Litzinger has directed the Children's and Youth Choir within L'ATELIER SONORE / vocal and scenic factory, and encourages the creation of musical performances. The young choirmaster composes musical tales which she signs all at once; the script, the music, the lyrics and the staging. Finally, the choirs participated in Europa Cantat Junior Lyon in 2017 and professionals from the sound workshop intervene in school media to facilitate the sharing, exchange and smooth running of the project.
